About Sauce Boss:

Sauce Boss is an instrumental neo-soul and funk collective that celebrates collaboration with poets, rappers, and vocalists. The group has performed alongside artists including rapper Biviens in Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia; Malik LovesYall at Chris’ Jazz Café in Philadelphia; and jazz vocalist Lora Sherrodd at Cellar Dog Philly. Most recently, Sauce Boss collaborated with local rapper Ryshon Jones for a performance at Futon Sessions.

Known for pushing creative boundaries, Sauce Boss has developed innovative projects, including reimagining iconic beats by producer J Dilla for live performance. Their debut single, “Gut Bucket,” featuring rapper, saxophonist, and trumpeter Tennishu of Butcher Brown, was released in early 2026 and is available on all major streaming platforms.
